Announcement of a two-week observership in Korea for young Asian dermatologists

It’s that time of the year again! KSID announces the yearly observership opportunity for young aspiring dermatologists from Asia. Since the autumn of 2018, the Korean Society for Investigative Dermatology (KSID) and Korean Dermatological Association (KDA) have been jointly hosting a two-week observership program for dermatologists under 40 years of age from Asia. It is a joint effort by the two societies to promote scientific advancement and networking throughout Asia, and it will be an ongoing program. For the 2020 KSID annual meeting which will be held from March 27 to 28 of 2020 in Seoul, we are providing support for 2 Asian dermatologists. Each selected dermatologist will be provided with cash support of 2,500,000 Korean Won (around USD 2,140 at the current exchange rate) for research-related education at an academic institution in Korea following the attendance of KSID annual meeting. The total period of visit will be two weeks including the attendance of our annual meeting. The registration for the meeting will be waived as well. The meeting and observership will be conducted in English. Selected applicants must also present his/her research work (10 minutes for talk and 2 minutes for discussion) in one of the Concurrent Sessions of 2020 KSID Annual meeting.
